PLACEMENT CELL
A placement cell's main function is to bridge the gap between students and employers by facilitating job opportunities, acting as a central point for connecting companies with talent, and preparing students for the workforce through training, workshops (mock interviews, resume writing, aptitude tests), and career guidance, ultimately boosting employability and successful campus recruitment drives.
Key Functions
1 Industry Liaison: Builds and maintains strong relationships with companies to attract recruiters for campus placements.
2 Student Skill Development: Organizes training sessions (communication, aptitude, technical, soft skills) and workshops (resume building, group discussions) to enhance job readiness.
3 Career Guidance: Provides counseling to students for choosing career paths, understanding industry demands, and preparing for interviews.
4 Recruitment Coordination: Manages all aspects of campus recruitment, including inviting companies, scheduling interviews (on-campus, telephonic), and facilitating the selection process.
5 Information Hub: Disseminates job notifications, career opportunities, and placement-related updates to students.
6 Data Management: Collects and maintains student and company data, preparing eligible students for different roles.
7 Feedback Loop: Gathers feedback from both students and employers to continuously improve placement strategies and training programs.
